Westwood projects were engaged by Vitacress Salads Ltd to refurbish their head office at St Mary’s Bourne, near Andover.
Works consisted of the full strip-out and refurbishment of the existing open plan office, MD’s office, and meeting rooms. The aim of the project was to create a light, modern space for their office-based employees. Westwood Projects designed and installed a new air-conditioning and heat recovery system and LED lighting throughout the area to improve energy efficiency. Power was distributed around the office area via 3 compartment trunking to remove the issue of trailing leads. New acoustically absorbent ceilings were installed to improve the noise reverberation, which is proven to improve concentration levels. New acoustic partitions were installed between the MD’s office and meeting rooms to improve privacy in those areas. New timber veneer doors and softwood skirting were supplied and installed. We finished the area with new decoration, carpet tiles and window blinds.
